Project overview and highlights
The Latin American European Network in social support for Online Gaming (LAENOG) project is a European and Latin American partnership gathering both researchers and universities, aiming to become a leading platform in support of young video game players (YVGP) and their parents/educators from Europe to Latin America.
How We’re Making an Impact:
- Identifying and analyzing toxic behaviors in online gaming across Latin American countries.
- Developing a Self-Assessment Tool to help young players recognize and categorize toxicity.
- Creating educational resources (MOOC) for players, parents, and educators on gaming risks and benefits.
- Providing training opportunities through workshops, discussion forums, and digital tools.
- Facilitating knowledge exchange between European and Latin American partners.
- Establishing a Video Game Social Observatory to track trends and provide ongoing resources.
